The new Mutoh's Osprey 2.6 meter wide 6-colour true solvent printer is an extension to Mutoh's existing Toucan series printers (64” four and six colors and 87” six colors).
The Osprey offers a maximum media width of 2.6 metre (102.36”) and a maximum printing width of 2.5 metre (98.43”). It uses specially developed high-speed dryness type true solvent-based inks (C, M, Y, K, Lc, Lm), making it possible to print directly onto standard uncoated PVC and banner materials.
The Osprey incorporates two heating elements, a motorized / censored media feeding and winding system for media rolls up to 140 kg. Head height is adjustable in five steps, from 2.5 mm up to 4.5 mm (0.5 mm step).
The Osprey is dedicated for outdoor applications, such as long-term outdoor graphics, street furniture, backlit displays, wall murals, fleet, etc.. Prints are water, highly abrasion and UV-resistant for up to 5 years outdoors, without lamination.
